About Trang

In August 2023, Trang Voulgarakis became the Director of Administrative Services at the College of Education, bringing with her eight years of experience in finance and administration at Washington State University.

Trang majored in French during college and worked as a teacher and interpreter prior to her move to the United States in 2006. She earned her Master’s in Business Administration in 2017 and passed the CRA/RACC exam in Spring 2023 to become a Certified Research Administrator.

Prior to joining the College of Education, Trang served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Budget at the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health, where her team was awarded the 2019 Pioneer Award for their exceptional efforts in grant and contract administration, both locally and internationally within the WSU system.

Trang is married to Nikolaos, an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department. They used to live in the Bay Area before relocating to Washington state in 2012. They are proud parents of two daughters: Agapi (10) and Konstantina (5). In the summer, they love to visit Greece or Vietnam to catch up with family, friends, and enjoy the stunning beaches and delicious foods.
