Add-On Endorsements: Test ONLY
Test ONLY, formerly called Pathway 1, is administered by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) .
You must hold a teaching certificate.
You must also pass the content exam in the new area.
The endorsements eligible to be added through testing only are as follows:

- Choral Music
- Computer Science
- Dance
- Earth & Space Science
- English Language Arts
- General Music
- History
- Instrumental Music
- Mathematics
- Middle Level Humanities
- Middle Level Mathematics
- Middle Level Science
- Physics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Theatre Arts
- Traffic Safety
- Visual Arts
- Designated World Languages
**Individuals who hold ELL or Bilingual may add the other endorsement via testing only.
Application through this Pathway is done through the state’s E-Certification.
