Rebecca Kai-Ting Liao-Cance

Rebecca is originally from Taiwan by way of Seattle. She came to WSU as an undergraduate transfer student to study psychology, and later completed her master’s in community counseling from the College of Education. Rebecca has worked as an academic advisor and coordinator since she finished her degree in 2013. She enjoys her work because it allows her to utilize her counseling background while directly supporting students on their academic journey.

Rebecca’s husband teaches math at Pullman High School, and together they have one daughter and three cats. Rebecca loves dance, crafting, and playing board games and going for walks on the weekend with her family.
