What are you studying? Elementary Education
Why are you studying this? What do you hope to do with this afterward?
I am studying elementary education because I am passionate about shaping young minds, nurturing their growth, and laying the foundation for a brighter future. After I graduate, I hope to inspire a love for learning in my students, foster their intellectual and social development, and contribute to building a more compassionate society.
Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU because of its excellent educational reputation, dedicated faculty, and vibrant and supportive learning community that will help me become a successful elementary educator.
What’s been your favorite part of the WSU experience thus far?
I’ve enjoyed finding my best friends through my sorority and my new friends through the elementary education program.
What has been the biggest challenge so far?
My biggest challenge has been deciding which elementary grade levels I’d like to teach or learn more about.
As a college, we’re focusing on our people being agents of change. What makes you an agent of change?
I am an agent of change because of my unwavering commitment to positively impacting the world. My passion for child education drives me to act and inspire those around me. Whether it’s through volunteering or advocating for change, I consistently demonstrate the determination and leadership necessary to create a better future for all. My ability to communicate effectively and engage with diverse perspectives sets me apart for positive change in the community and beyond.
