What inspired you to pursue a degree in kinesiology?
I really didn’t know what I wanted to do when I came here. I knew I wanted to do something where I would be able to help others and in high school I took an anatomy and physiology class, and I really enjoyed it. I decided I would be a kinesiology major and would try to do pre-PT but I ended up changing to pre-Med.

What is your dream job after college?
I hope to become a doctor, I am not sure what specialty but I am leaning towards general practice or emergency medicine.

What do you hope to get out of your career?
I hope that well be able to help people when they need it most and make a positive impact on their lives. But also be able to afford to do things I enjoy and would like to do, that are not work related.

What, or who, motivates you as a student?
Doing well, I really do not like to fail or do poorly at anything I try. So I always push myself to try to work harder and do my best.

What kind of extracurricular activities are you a part of?
I volunteer at Pullman Regional Hospital and with the Washington Trail Association. I also spend time working out, backpacking, hiking/snow shoeing and playing guitar.
