“I want to become a teacher to be able to make a positive difference in children’s lives. I’ve always loved working with kids but I didn’t get confirmation that this was the right career for me until I took the leap of faith and changed my major. My first practicum experience made me realize how much I loved being in the classroom and made me realize my dream is to teach early elementary education. I am so inspired by how excited students are to learn, they are so impressionable at this age which shows me how important and rewarding my job will be.”
