Annalise Olsen – Kinesiology

Year in school: sophomore

Hometown: Castle Rock, Colorado

Why are you studying Kinesiology? What do you hope to do with this after you graduate?

I am passionate and interested in sports and physical activity. I wanted to learn more about the human body and its performance. I hope to become an Exercise Physiologist and ultimately help other people reach the best versions of themselves.

Why did you choose WSU?

I loved the campus and liked the opportunities offered here.

What’s been your favorite part of the WSU experience thus far?

I have enjoyed gaining new experiences and making new connections and friends.

What has been the biggest challenge?

It has been hard at times to be far from home.

As a college, we’re focusing more on our people being agents of change. What makes you an agent of change?

As an individual, I can’t change the world, but I can help make the lives of those around me better. I try my best to be kind and lift my friends, coworkers, and classmates.
