About Mandy
Originally from Pennsylvania, Mandy first found her way to Pullman in 2013 to join the UREC staff. After several years away, she is excited to rejoin the WSU community as an academic advisor in Kinesiology. Mandy received her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Ohio University in 2013 and is currently completing her PhD in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism through the University of Utah, where her research focuses on sexual harassment prevention and response in the outdoor industry. Mandy likes working in higher education because it holds opportunities for student support and mentorship, creative problem solving, and intellectual curiosity. In her free time, Mandy enjoys hiking, rock climbing, yoga, reading, and petting other people’s dogs.
