Short Bio
Jessica Wheeler is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Mathematics and Science Education. She currently teaches middle school science, and has seven years’ experience teaching high school science classes. Jessica’s research interests are around instruction that facilitates student learning and growth with the scientific practices, as well as vocabulary instruction and ELL student learning within science classrooms.
