Application Checklist/Information

Closing Deadline: April 01 for fall admission; September 01 for spring admission.

Please note the following program stipulations:

1) Admission to this Graduate Certificate program does not guarantee admittance to a master’s or doctoral degree;

2) Applicants are admitted to the Pullman campus only, and;

3) This certificate program does not currently accept State of Washington Employee tuition waivers.

Step One – Know…..

Here’s a “checklist” of information you’ll need when you apply.

01. WSU Graduate School general application requirements (including application fee).

02. Current resume or vitae. Current resume documenting previous educational, work, volunteer, or research experiences that is relevant to the degree program to which you are applying.

03. Letter of Intent. Written statement of your professional objectives and how you believe they will be promoted by admission to the respective WSU program. (Do not exceed two typed single-spaced pages)

04. Complete Educational History and Transcripts from any colleges/universities:

• Where any degrees have been granted or are expected.

• That show any graded bachelor’s work and/or graduate-level work (including doctoral) taken after the bachelor’s degree.

• Unofficial copies may be uploaded with your Graduate School application for application review. If admitted, you will be required to submit official copies to the WSU Graduate School.

Official WSU Transcripts are NOT required for coursework taken at WSU.

05. International Students must meet the university’s English proficiency and funding requirements. Please view the current requirements.
