About Eunah

Eunah Jo is a graduate student in the Cultural Studies and Social Thoughts in Education program. She graduated from Seoul National University of Education with a focus on social studies curriculum and received her master’s degree in Global Education. Before starting her doctoral studies, she dedicated to teaching at Korean elementary schools.

Combining her extensive practical experience as a teacher with her academic training, Eunah was able to cultivate a well-rounded perspective on the strengths and challenges inherent in the education system. This blend of classroom experience and scholarly pursuits developed her interest in making a valuable contribution to the future of both students and educators.

Her research interest lies in the social studies curriculum development from a comparative standpoint. Her aim is to discover innovative methods that empower students to become proficient global citizens, equipped to navigate the complexities of our interconnected world.
