Darryl coordinates advising and enrollment management for the Kinesiology program. He has worked in higher education, as an advisor and/or adjunct faculty member for two decades at three different universities. He supports Kinesiology students and faculty, often times ‘behind the scenes’. In addition, he trains and supervises the student ambassadors and co-coordinates the Bruya-Wood undergraduate research conference.
Darryl was the recipient of the College of Education’s Staff Excellence Award in 2021. He has also been recognized for numerous other awards, related to student support and mentoring, at WSU, Illinois State University and Purdue University. He enjoys working in higher education and helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
