Ashley joined the College of Education as a Program Specialist for Field Services in August of 2021. She received her teaching degree from the University of Idaho in secondary education with an emphasis in English, and has a passion for working with young adults and supporting the Pullman/Moscow community. If you’re in need of fingerprinting services, you’ll most likely be in touch with her!

Although she has a particular interest in writing, her background education includes pre-med, pre-vet, biology, anthropology, and music history, and she finds her greatest inspirations in the work of James Baldwin, Shakespeare, The Doors, and the natural world. Outside of her classes, she worked with the University of Idaho’s SI-PASS program as one of their first SI Leaders and as both tutor and Learning Specialist Assistant for student-athletes, but she is eager to complete a master’s degree as an official WSU Cougar and create a lasting home in Pullman.

Together with her husband Michael, a veteran from the U.S. Army, she enjoys gardening flowers, cooking exotic dishes, and building computers with the help of their three cats (Anri, Artorias, and Alvina).
