Why did you choose Washington State University?

It first appealed to me because I figured the distance would allow me to grow in my independence but then I read into the teaching program and knew it would be the perfect fit. It helps that my grandparents are huge Coug fans.

What is your favorite part of this program?

The people that I have gotten to work with, both peers and professors, have really helped me grow into myself and have been such an amazing support system. This is what I will remember most when I think back on this program experience.

What is your dream job after college?

My dream job is to work as a Special Education teacher who supports other teachers within the school on how to make their classrooms more inclusive and accommodating for all students.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshman pursuing this degree?

Things may get hard and college may be overwhelming, but it is important to remember why you are pursuing this degree. It is important to remember that you want to go out into the world and make a huge difference.
