What are you most passionate about when it comes to being a teacher?

I am the most passionate about helping our youth, our future generations will be taking care of our planet after we’re gone, it’s important they have the right guidance to show them the right way. I am excited about spending my life around kids and helping them become future teachers, engineers, musicians, artists, anything they’re passionate about.

Where do you hope to go after graduation?

I plan on using my TESOL certificate and teaching abroad for most of my career, I would love to see the world and experience as many cultures as a lifetime allows me to. I am hoping to start my journey in Southeast Asia or Latin America and just see where the wind takes me.

What impact do you hope to make on your future students?

I hope to show my students that they can do anything they put their mind to, and that nothing will stop them if they want it. I hope that they dream big and always keep their imagination.

What is your favorite part of this program?

The feeling of family in every class, it doesn’t matter who you sit with you’ll always have a good time with people who have the same aspirations as you. The program has really brought me to the realization that these people will be my lifelong friends.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen?

If I had advice to tell incoming freshman it would be to take their classes and grades very seriously because that years GPA will act as a foundation for the rest of their educational career. It’s a good idea to set yourself up in the beginning.
