Why do you want to become a teacher?

I’ve wanted to be a teacher since kindergarten, I also want to make an impact on lives of our future.

What are you most passionate about when it comes to being a teacher?

I am most passionate about my future students and helping them achieve their goals because they can do anything they want to.

What/who inspired you to become a teacher?

I have had many role models, it started with kindergarten teacher Mrs. Oblizalo, and now a family friend, JoAnna, who is also a teacher and one of the best ones I know. Both taught me that this path is meant for me.

What do you hope to achieve in this career?

In this career I hope to achieve a role in students’ lives where I can inspire them to do whatever they want. I want to believe in all of my students the way many of my teachers believed in me.

What impact do you hope to make on your future students?

I want my students to look back years down the road, and be able to say “that’s the teacher that believed in me and told me that I can do whatever I want, she’s the one that inspired me to become…” I want students to feel the same way about me, as I felt about my kindergarten teacher that inspired me to become a teacher.
