Chad Gotch is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. He is a research assistant in the Learning & Performance Research Center, and also serves on the National Council on Measurement in Education's Graduate Student Issues Committee. Chad's academic interests include measurement invariance, multilevel data, quantitative literacy, and assessment of language acquisistion.
Gotch earned a B.S. from Virginia Tech where he focused on biological and human dimensions aspects of managing public lands for recreational opportunities, and an M.S. from University of Idaho where he studied environmental and outdoor science education. Prior to enrolling in the Educational Psychology program he worked in university administration, providing evaluative support of enrollment management, co-curricular, and accreditation initiatives.
