Tamara, who goes by “Tam”, is pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education and obtaining a certificate in Applied Educational Research Methods with a focus in quantitative methods. She is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Research on Leadership Education (Link: http://jrl.sagepub.com).
Tamara has earned a B.A in Modern Language in Spanish from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI and a Master’s Degree in English as a Second Language and Bicultural Education from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Her research interests focus on critical mixed race theory, mixed race families, social justice, and intercultural communication.
