“I chose the WSU Kinesiology master’s program because I feel that the faculty and staff truly care about their students. They go above and beyond to ensure students are getting the most out of every class, while providing the opportunity to be prepared for life after college. The cohesion of the College of Education with the entirety of WSU makes me proud to be a Coug. Go Cougs!”

Samantha is currently a master’s student in the WSU Kinesiology program.

She graduated with her bachelors in Kinesiology and minor in Business Administration at WSU in the Summer of 2021.

“In my studies, I hope to have an emphasis of focus on the psychological aspects of sports and exercise. After graduating with a master’s degree, the goal is to promote health and wellness in low-income communities as well as being a part-time coach.”

Samantha is currently on the rowing team for WSU. When not at practice or school, she loves hiking, baking, or having paint nights with friends.
