Why are you studying Social Studies Education? What do you hope to do with this after you graduate?
I have always wanted to be a teacher! Social studies was my favorite subject in school and my dad instilled a love of history in me from a very young age.
Why did you choose WSU?
My dad graduated from WSU in 1989 and I have been a life-long Coug!
What’s been your favorite part of the WSU experience thus far?
Meeting the greatest friends I have ever had!
What has been the biggest challenge?
By far the biggest challenge has been managing stress of academics while also maintaining a social life with friends.
As a college, we’re starting to focus more on our people being agents of change. What makes you an agent of change?
I am an agent of change because my mindset and attitude strive to have an equitable and accepting classroom for all students regardless of background.
