What inspired you to pursue a degree in kinesiology?
I’ve always enjoyed working out and staying healthy. I want to pursue my passion in hopes of being able to teach others about fitness and exercise.
What appeals to you most in this field?
Learning about how the human body functions really fascinates me.
What is your dream job after college?
I would like to get a job somewhere in the medical field or personal training. My long-term goal is to open up a successful gym.
Have you had any experience in this area, such as an internship?
In high school, I was an intern for the local chiropractor in town. I learned a lot, and it was a great experience.
Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen pursuing this degree?
Do not make the early habit of procrastinating because these early habits you develop now are the habits you continue to do later in life.
What, or who, motivates you as a student? My parents are my biggest motivators to continue going to school. They sacrificed a lot in order for my siblings and I to live a better life here in the United States.
