What are you most passionate about when it comes to being a teacher?
What I’m most passionate about as a teacher are the students themselves. Teaching is awesome, but it’s the students and the relationships that are built with them that are what make teaching so special.

What impact do you hope to have on your future students?
I am looking forward to building relationships with students so I can make a positive impact on their lives. Children need a constant rock in their life they can always count on for being there and for being happy, and I want to be that constant in their lives.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen?
I know people always say to manage your time well, but seriously, that is the best tip I can give to freshmen. By the time you get into the thick of things, it will be hard to keep up. My advice is to just do a little bit everyday. I used to be a procrastinator, but now I organize my time because I want my life to be as stress free as possible.
