Why did you choose Washington State University?
I was thoroughly impressed with Washington State University. Originally, I was set on attending a different school, but after touring WSU I fell in love. The family atmosphere, especially in the Sport Management program, was exactly what I was looking for. It felt like coming home when I toured and it was exactly what I was looking for in a degree.

What inspired you to pursue this degree?
When I was ten, I went to my first Gonzaga college basketball game. From then on, I was hooked and completely fell in love with sports. I loved seeing people come together and put aside their differences to attend games together. It is such a positive atmosphere and I wanted to be a part of making sporting events like that happen.

What is your dream job after college?
My dream job after college is working Facility and Event Operations in a Division I collegiate athletic program.

What are your future plans as you go through the program?
I am currently a senior, completing my last semester before moving to Spokane to intern at Gonzaga University with the Facility and Event Operations department. After the internship, I am hoping to attend graduate school.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen pursuing this degree?
The best advice I could give to incoming freshman is to get to know your professors and get involved. This degree is centered on networking and it is imperative to your success in the program and field.
