Why did you choose WSU?

I liked the community aspect of it. I liked that it was close to home but not too close. I knew I was going to get a good college experience here.

Why did you decide to study Sport Management?

I chose Sport Management because I was really interested in seeing how things worked behind the scenes. I played sports growing up and wanted to see how the cogs turned… that interested me.

What aspect of sports would you like to go into?

Definitely field operations. I can’t sit for long periods of time. This would allow me to switch up my work environment week to week and keep me on my toes.

What is your dream job in field ops?

I would say a director of ops for collegiate baseball.

You seem to be a baseball fan. You have any experience playing?

I played at Juanita High. Played at Spokane Falls Community College. Then I transferred to WSU just as a student.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshmen pursuing this degree?

Don’t be afraid to network with anyone you meet. And take classes seriously because you’ll soon realize they apply to everything.
