Bryce Hendricks – Sport Management

Year in school: junior

Hometown: Zillah, Washington

Why are you studying Sport Management? What do you hope to do with it after you graduate?

Basketball is my passion and I hope to work in the sport someday. I want to coach or scout at a high level.

Why did you choose WSU?

I’ve been a Coug my whole life. My dad was a first generation college student and I’ve always known this is where I belong.

What’s been your favorite part of the WSU experience thus far?

The basketball games.

What’s been the biggest challenge so far?

Balancing working out, writing, working with the women’s basketball team, and school.

As a college, we’re starting to focus more on our people being agents of change. What makes you an agent of change?

I’ve always held very firm in my beliefs and I believe in fighting for them. Whether it be racial equality, allyship with the LGBTQ+ community, or whatever it may be.
