Research interests

Linda Mabry is an educational psychologist who specializes in the assessment of K-12 student achievement, program evaluation, and qualitative research methodology.

Teaching/professional interests

Dr. Mabry teaches courses in student assessment, educational psychology, and research methodology. Of particular interest are topics related to ethics, social responsibility, and validity in educational measurement and research cognition in educational psychology. Research and evaluation projects have been funded by (among others): Spencer Foundation / National Academy of Education, National Endowment for the Arts, National Science Foundation, United States Department of Education, United States Department of Health and Human Services, Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Washington Educational Research Association, Chicago Teachers Academy of Mathematics, Cleveland Children’s Museums, Proffitt Endowment.

  • Named a major contributor to the field of evaluation, Encyclopedia of Evaluation (2004)
