WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WSU?

I chose Washington State for the college town. I loved the idea that in Pullman, we are essentially the center of everything. The whole vibe and tradition of this university had a huge effect on my decision. When I came to WSU I had no clue what I wanted to do, but thankfully I was stumbled upon the college of education and great programs within. I came to WSU for the campus and I stayed for the amazing small college like programs in a PAC 12 institution.

ADVICE FOR INCOMING STUDENTS

Be open to getting involved and learn. When I was a new student here I had no clue I would be where I am today and so passionate about my career. To grow you have to go outside your comfort zone. Join a club, club sport team, or get involved within your department. There are so many opportunities to help you reach your goals. You just have to go outside your dorm room and look for it.
