“I chose to complete my Master’s Degree at WSU because the undergraduate experience I had here was sincerely amazing. As a student who transferred twice before finding WSU, I never thought I would find advisors and educators who care as much about their students as they do themselves!”

About James… by James

“My name is James Scott. I am a first-year graduate student currently studying Kinesiology with a thesis, working in the Exercise Physiology and Performance Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Christopher Connolly. Additionally, I am an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer working through WSU’s University Recreation helping clients reach their personal and performance goals.

“My passion for this field of study spurs from a lifelong commitment to exercise, performance, and learning. The ability to learn and grow, then help others learn and grow in the gym, on the field of play, and in the classroom drives me to be the best educator and coach possible.

“In my free time, I participate and compete in recreational Disc Golf and BodyBuilding. These keep me mentally and physically in shape, healthy, and happy!”
