We’re united about our differences

The College of Education embraces our differences and values a deeper understanding of the ways that race, ethnicity, language, and culture play out in local contexts.

The Equity and Inclusion Committee exists to help the college be intentional about bringing diversity and social justice into meetings, curriculum, and other opportunities. It helps bring people to the table who are not like us; to make sure that everyone feels included in everything you do and that each individual feels she or he belongs—regardless of gender, race or sexuality.
