Short Bio

Kristen Harvey is a part-time graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Science Education. She currently teaches Mathematics at Walla Walla Community College, where she has been since 2013. Prior to that, she taught middle school and high school math for Walla Walla Public schools for 22 years, twice achieving National Board Certification in Mathematics. Kristen’s research interests are effective instructional strategies, math anxiety, and preservice teacher preparation.
