Math and Science Ed – Candace Chappell
Short Bio
Candace Chappelle is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Science Education. She is a graduate assistant for the Office of the Dean of Students, and is the financial literacy and social media coordinator. She also is the 2017-2018 Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) College Representative for the College of Education and the GPSA Director of Communications.
Candace has earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. She is particularly interested in conducting research focused on developmental mathematics students and how to best serve students with high mathematics anxiety within the general university classrooms.
