March 23, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Sequoia Dance
Workshop 3: Dancing in Prayer
About the workshop
Sequoia will be talking about the different dancing styles in the powwow circle. “I will have a strong focus on Jingle Dress dancing and define what it means to me. And help to open perspectives on this topic. To stay culturally competent I will have to address “powwow” etiquette and what might be okay to share from the workshop and what needs to stay within the group that is there”.
