Beth Beattie has 20+ years experience in education.  She was a classified teacher for four years, sign language interpreter in the classroom for three years, a classroom teacher for six years, and a principal for seven years. Fall semester 2020 marks her first year as a field supervisors for WSU Vancouver.

During her time in the classroom, she was a sign language interpreter (K-12) and a classroom teacher (3rd and 4th). As an administrator, she was a principal of a middle school that was a 5-8 building with approximately 650 students and 75 staff members. She was also a principal at an alternative high school with approximately 450 students and 25 staff members.

Her blended family includes six daughters and two identical twin granddaughters. Since all the daughter graduated from either the University of Oregon, University of Washington, or Washington State University, football season is an exciting time in their family. She and her husband Dennis live in Ridgefield.
