Visiting the College of Education


Undergraduate

Individual and group visitations

If you are interested in the College of Education undergraduate programs, there are a number of scheduled group visitations organized by WSU New Student Programs. The Office of Recruitment & Retention works in conjunction with New Student Programs to provide visiting students information on the College of Education undergraduate programs. 

A standard undergraduate College of Education presentation consists of:

  1. Tour of College of Education
  2. Presentation (on undergraduate area of interest)
  3. Advisor chat session (if time allows)
  4. Student chat session (if time allows)

Graduate

If you are interested in one of the College of Education Graduate Programs and would like to set up a campus visitation specific to your needs, email coe_recruitment@wsu.edu or call our office at 509 335-4864 and we can schedule a visitation. We look forward to working with you in your educational endeavors!

Individual visitations:

If you're interested in scheduling an individual College of Education visitation, please email or call our office to set up a visitation specific to your needs. 

Group visitations:

Group visitations need to be scheduled at least one month prior to visitation date. Group visitations can be tailored for your specific group, such as community college transfer students, other WSU colleges/departments, or other four-year colleges.

Visitation itinerary

A basic COE visitation itinerary generally consists of the following:

  1. Initial meeting with the Office of Recruitment & Retention
  2. A tour of College of Education
  3. Meeting with one or two faculty from your area of interest
  4. Meeting with a graduate student from you area of interest
  5. Meeting with the College of Education Office of Graduate Studies
