Curriculum Vitae

Laura Girardeau helps advance COE faculty development in research and grant procurement. She works with the Associate Dean for Research to enhance faculty success on grant proposals, publications and research. Laura uses a one-on-one coaching model to provide comprehensive editing on grant proposals and article manuscripts upon request. She also helps design and facilitate workshops and retreats, finds funding opportunities on faculty research interests, and encourages collaboration throughout WSU and beyond.

She holds an Ed.M. from WSU and an M.S. from the University of Oregon. She has worked as Co-coordinator of WSU’s Graduate & Professional Writing Center, Jr. Faculty Researcher at the University of Hawai’i, and Assessment Specialist at WSU’s Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology.

Laura began traveling at an early age, and has lived in Norway, France, Germany, and Belgium. She’s also lived in Eugene, Portland, Boulder, New England and Hawai’i. Her favorite travels so far were to Costa Rica, New Zealand, Bali, Italy, Scotland, and the US National Parks.
