Literacy education
Department of Teaching & Learning
WSU offers two masters degree programs in literacy education. The non-thesis Ed.M. degree focuses on K-12. Its purpose is to develop teachers’ or other professionals’ knowledge and skills. The M.A. degree is designed for students who wish to focus on educational research in language and literacy and who may pursue a doctoral degree.
