The priority deadline for admission to graduate programs in the College of Education is January 10 for fall admission. Applicants meeting this deadline will have first priority for full consideration into the programs, as well as for available assistantships and funding.
Applications received between January 11 and March 15 may be reviewed on a space available basis. Students are encouraged to meet the January 10 deadline for full consideration.
The following items must be submitted directly to the WSU Graduate School in addition to the online application:
- Official transcripts showing all previous college or university coursework
- Three letters of recommendation
- Current resume documenting previous educational, work, volunteer, or research experiences that are relevant to the degree program to which you are applying.
- A brief statement of your professional objectives and how you believe they will be promoted by admission to the program to which you are applying. Do not exceed two typed single-spaced pages.
- Official GRE scores
The following items must be submitted directly to the College of Education Office of Graduate Studies:
- Copy of Supplemental Information Form
- Please calculate the grade point averages (GPAs)
listed below:
- Undergraduate GPA
- Last 60 credit hours undergraduate GPA
- GPA in major
- Graduate GPA (if applicable)
