Gay Lynn James' main responsibilities include supporting WSU College of Education staff members involved with Teaching & Learning, Educational Leadership, Counseling Psychology, and the Superintendent Cohort program, all under the direction of Academic Director Joan Kingrey.
James holds a BA in leadership and professional studies from WSU. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Spokane program, and is a Girl Scout troop leader. She was one of the first employees of the City of Spokane Valley, where she spent nearly five years supporting the foundation of a new government.
