Research interests

Marcia Katigbak Church conducts research in the area of culture and personality, focusing on indigenous and cross-cultural aspects of personality structure and assessment. Most recently, she is involved in efforts to integrate theoretically and empirically, trait and cultural psychology approaches in the study of culture and personality. Katigbak collaborates with researchers from the U.S., Mexico, Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, and Japan.

Teaching/professional interests

Katigbak Church serves as a research associate on the Culture and Personality Project, which is housed in the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling Psychology. Formerly, she taught research methods in the department.
