Research interests
Stephanie San Miguel Bauman's research interests
include risk and resiliency factors for children of
color, children with chronic illnesses, and their
families. She is currently working on a research
project about the psychosocial and school adjustment
issues of survivors of childhood cancer.
Teaching/professional interests
Stephanie San Miguel Bauman teaches Theories,
Techniques, and Research in Counseling; Career
Development; Ethics; Counseling Diverse Populations;
and the Masters Internship in School Counseling.
Recent accomplishments
- Dr. Bauman's recent publications include two
chapters in Counseling Across the Lifespan: Prevention
and Treatment, a comprehensive discussion of counseling
psychology interventions:
